The beginning
I have seen so many blog on peoples house builds, I thought I had to start one for our build.
We are building a 4 Bed house in Altona North, designed by Arden homes. We decided on Arden as the inclusions cover all that is needed to move in. The inclusions are of a higher quality to other builds.
This is the original plans for the house. Arden have a good way to decide on the layout. The staircase is fixed, and everything else can be moved.
This is our ground floor plan, we have swapped the cinema and study, and also flipped the rear, so the windows at the back face the sun. We have removed the Rumpus room at the back as we don't see a need for this.
The first floor has had the master bedroom completely altered. The behind bed WIR has been moved to in front of the en-suite, the en-suite has also be changed. The rear has also been filled to have the bathroom on the same side as the en-suite, meaning no waist is needed in the living room.
All of the changes have been carried out free of charge and have not increased the build price.
